Pilates Classes

Within our pilates studio in Fleet, we offer Pilates for all levels and abilities in a fun, friendly, safe and welcoming environment. Our classes have a maximum of 8 people, to enhance your experience of Pilates, ensuring correct technique, precision and control of each exercise, which is essential for the maximum results.

Some Instructors are also Sports Therapy qualified, so they have a wealth of experience working with people who suffer with back/joint problems e.g. prolapsed discs/sciatica/scoliosis/pre & post operative conditions.

Pilates for beginners: If you are a complete novice, need a refresher course, or returning to exercise after injury then this is perfect start for you. You will learn the 8 principles of Pilates, how to ‘find’ your core, apply the correct breathing technique, re-educate & strengthen your stabilising muscles. You will soon feel improved mobility in the joints, longer leaner muscles, increased flexibility and strength. Once you have completed the beginners 6 week course, you are welcome to progress to a mixed class.
Pilates Mixed classes: This class introduces more progressions of the 34 original moves. Small equipment, such as chi balls, stott balls, foam rollers and resistance bands add to the challenge! This class may have different ability levels of experience, so there is usually 1-3 progressions offered of a move.
Pilates Improvers level: This is for the intermediate & advanced, who need to have a strong core and have been practicing Pilates for 18 months+. These classes offer more challenging and advanced moves, the use of small equipment adds another dimension.

Pilates EXPRESS: This is a mixed level class in a 45 minute lunch hour period.

Pilates for Men:   This is a mixed level class, aimed for the cyclist/runner/triathlete or anyone into sport. This Pilates class targets known weak/tight areas and muscle imbalances which sport dictates. Strengthens the deep core, enhances performance/endurance and technique.
