Gill Smith – Optimum Health Receptionist
My name is Gill and I joined the Optimum Team as a part-time receptiomist in March 2015 and though only having been with them a short period of time they have all made me feel very welcome and part of the team.
My passion is running which I enjoy enormously so much so I joined Fleet and Crockham Athletics club in 2012. I have had a long standing knee injury which one physio therapist told me to stop running altogether. So after trying 5 different Physio/Sports Therapists and about to give up, a club member recommended Optimum Health and Fitness and to ask for Rosie which I did. She was very good at dealing with my injury with sessions of massage and also recommended exercises to get me back on track. I am very grateful to Optimum as if it wasn’t for them I would probably have given up running by now. I ran the Fleet Half Marathon this year for the third time in a row and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Rosie.
I have a varied background in Hotel and Office Reception work and then 5 years ago I deviated into HR.as a career I am married and I have a rescue lurcher dog who enjoys his walks and swimming in Hawley lake.
